The MRO industry needs more than additional capacity.
It needs a new operating model.
IER is redefining how aero engine maintenance is delivered. Our integrated MRO ecosystem connects induction, repair, manufacturing, material solutions, assembly and testing through a data-driven operating model powered by AI, creating a faster, smarter and more scalable approach to engine lifecycle management.

IER is building a new engine MRO platform in Dubai, combining independent maintenance capabilities, purpose-built aviation infrastructure and a digital-native operating model. Designed around the complete engine journey, the platform delivers greater transparency, control and scalability for airlines, lessors and engine asset owners.
We are building our smart engine-MRO platform at the heart of Dubai South’s aerospace hub.
Developed within Dubai South, IER is positioned at the centre of a rapidly expanding aerospace ecosystem. The close partnership with Dubai South provides a unique foundation for long-term growth, combining aviation-focused infrastructure, strategic connectivity and a shared commitment to building regional aerospace capabilities.
A strategic partnership within one of the world's fastest-growing aerospace ecosystems
DUBAI SOUTH
IER combines engine overhaul, testing, advanced manufacturing and training within a single integrated platform. A connected digital backbone is designed to support operational excellence from day one and scale with future growth.

IER MRO PLATFORM
MBRAH offers a purpose-designed environment for aerospace operations, combining aviation infrastructure, free-zone advantages and room for long-term expansion. The hub provides the setting for the next generation of aviation services.
Our campus connects every stage of the engine journey.
A phased journey towards a fully integrated engine-MRO platform.
Fast-track engine services. The first operational phase.
Phase 1: MRO4
MRO4 is the first operational facility within the IER platform, providing rapid-turnaround engine services, inspections, preservation, storage, aviation asset management and parts trading. As the initial phase of the wider campus development, it establishes early operational capabilities while creating the foundation for the future engine-MRO ecosystem at Dubai South.
From engine services to full lifecycle MRO.
Phase 2: MRO 1–3
MRO1-3 form the operational backbone of the IER platform, integrating inspection, repair, manufacturing, assembly, testing and training into a single connected environment. By combining purpose-built infrastructure with AI-enabled planning, digital twins and data-driven execution, IER is creating a new model for engine maintenance in which every engine, process and asset becomes part of one continuously learning ecosystem.
Strengthening the platform through testing and training.
TWIN TEST CELL &
TRAINING ACADEMY
The Twin Test Cell provides independent engine testing, performance verification and return-to-service support as an integrated part of the IER platform. Complementing these capabilities, the Training Academy develops future workforce capabilities through hands-on training, digital simulation and continuous qualification programmes.
The NextGen AI engine MRO platform is taking shape, milestone by milestone.
